Tulips were grown
Our piece of land once belonged to my grandmother Rika van Ruiten (maiden name Koek). My grandfather Siem used the long greenhouse for growing vegetables. My father took over and started growing tulips. My brother still grows tulips but no longer at this location.

Paradise in the Randstad
Our park is located in the middle of the Green Heart, in the middle of the Randstad. You will experience serenity with us, but entertainment is only a short distance away. Amsterdam, Haarlem, The Hague, Leiden, Delft and Gouda are easy to get to.

Subsidies province of South Holland
We are pleased to note that the province of South Holland has supported De Tulpenacker through various subsidies, allowing us to develop various projects. The province of South Holland has given us subsidies for quiet electric motor boats and matching charging stations, so the boats are always ready to explore the beautiful area in pure quietness. Through the subsidy, we could also complete the construction of the canoe pier at the end of the strip of land. There also are picnic tables here, so you can enjoy a delicious picnic with a wonderful view.
About us
We are Erwin and Kim van Rijn. Together with our daughters, we officially opened our park on January 12th, 2024. A few years ago, we were able to take over this small piece of land from the van Ruiten family. It was once used for growing tulips. Now, we have constructed a small-scale holiday park here. We would be happy to welcome you at our park.
